Fabulous music and poetry in our beautiful Parish Church

Whether you were a newbie or an old hand, it didn’t matter, everyone had great fun together at this event organised by Eileen Powell of U3A

  • Secret Garden at Cornfield Cottage

Stewart and Debbie Walker kindly invited us for a glass of something sparkly in their wonderfully charming and fragrant garden.  A magical evening.

  • Flower Arranging Workshop in the Parish Church Hall

Ann Middleton showed us how to create a beautiful posy from the flowers and foliage from our own garden.  The creations were stunning – even from those who’d never done anything like this before.

  • Walk in an Historic Landscape at Chalfont Park

A fascinating tour of the hidden history of Chalfont Park with access to areas not normally granted visitors including the main House.

  • Chiltern Quarterly Meet the Author at the Library

Hosted by award-winning author Denise Beddows, this was a fascinating insight into the creative process of story-telling and a chance to meet your favourite authors.

  • Encaustic Art with Pam Wilson

Super-talented artist Pam showed us how to create colourful abstract paintings with a hot iron.  It was great fun and the results we took home, were surprisingly impressive.
